Judges 9:45-47

⁴⁵ So Abimelech fought against the city all that day; ^(A)he took the city and killed the people who were in it; and he ^(B)demolished the city and sowed it with salt.

⁴⁶ Now when all the men of the tower of Shechem had heard that, they entered the ^[a]stronghold of the temple ^(C)of the god Berith. ⁴⁷ And it was told Abimelech that all the men of the tower of Shechem were gathered together.
